  • Dear folks,

My husband has tried different remedies for a terrible fungal infection that has affected his toes.

He is about to lose the toe nails on his big toes as it is that bad.

It seemed to have started shortly after he took two series of antibiotics when he was hospitalized for an accident he suffered in 2012.

He has been applying tea tree oil for years, but there has been no improvement.

Does anyone here know of an effective natural cure?

  • Tree oil for a fungus infection??

People shouldn't pretend they know better than doctors otherwise bad things happen
... such as an infection getting so bad you lose your toenails.
Drink food grade hydrogen-peroxide according to the instructions. Try health food store or buy on-line. It usually is sold in 12% or 33% grades. Never take it in those strengths. You must reduce it to 3% with water. It is an acid and very, very powerful. Been taking the stuff for years. Don't use the drug store H2O2 as it has additives you don't want to consume and it is meant for topical applications only.

do NOT take Hydrogen peroxide. It contains air bubbles which can cause an aynurism and stroke.
It is used to clear ear wax. do NOT drink it. Dont listen to witches who mix potions and sell them to parishioners.
Even if you didnt get a stroke from it, it has absolutely no anti fungal properties.
You need anti fungal medications to target the infection. STOP mixing your own stupid and toxic potions.

Take this seriously.  The toe fungus can be a sign of cancer in the body.  Not to alarm you, but you need to consider a full diagnosis before you should continue with natural treatment.  There are a lot of remedies, including H2 O2.  Soaking in baking soda and vinegar works as well, but takes time. Please check all aspects of your husband's health before choosing.  I don't trust a doctor very far, but they do come in handy for a few things.

I am seventy-years old and have been taking it orally and breathing its steam/vapor for thirty years to help control bronchitis. Great stuff. I have not taken any antibiotics for thirty years. Don't be afraid of it.

Your ignorance is showing.  There is such a thing as FOOD GRADE Hydrogen Peroxide which has been used for years and years and years.  FOOD GRADE !

  • From what I have read, toenail fungus is actually a systemic fungal infection so must be treated not only topically but internally also, the fungus is just manifesting in his toes because that's an easy spot for fungus to bloom because of the moisture.  Does he have a white coating on his tongue too?

Cut out carbs, sugars, dairy and add tons of low-glycemic veggies; up the healthy saturated fats (organic coconut oil for one).  Organic coconut oil is also good to use topically.

I would recommend doing some serious research online for more alternatives because the meds the docs prescribe are very hard on the liver.

My mom has it and tried all the usual things docs recommend with no success.  She won't adjust her diet and eventually just gave up trying to cure it!

I am very happy with the BulletProof XCT oil for these kinds of problems. It is nothing more than pure coconut oil but very concentrated. Apply it like you do the tea tree oil and also consume it via coffee, salad dressing and over vegetables and soups. It has strong anti-bacterial/fungal properties. Look up BulletProof. NB: I do not work for BulletProof  ;)

  • I was researching something the other day, I can't remember what, and an article popped up about a quick remedy prescription medicine that was outlawed in the USA, but is redilly available in the Far East. Do a Goggle search. There was a German remedy that a family friend pharmacist gave me about 45 years ago, and it got rid of the toenail fungus in like 2 weeks, no big deal. I found out years later that it was no longer available in the USA. Do research.

  • You wont go to a doctor because you think the meds are hard on your liver..
...but you will ingest chemical substances like hydrogen peroxide?

This whole thread reeks of trads thinking they know better than anyone who is not a trad, and now that arrogance extends to medicine, and you try treat yourself with your own amateur knowledge, potions, concoctions, and spells like some witchdoctor shaman. If people dont get worse from catholic magic potions it is because the human body is resilient, but dont anyone think that your stupid mixtures of vegetables and plants is a substitute for actual medicine. How do you know these concoctions are not doing you more harm, do you know if your system can take it. Just because a chapel magician mixes you a potion does not mean you suspend your critical thinking faculty and drink it and think your faith will heal it. Delusional people.
If eating vegetables cures fungal infections medicine would not have been invented.
But then you think medicine is from the devil, as if your some sort of naturalist who venerates natural cures,
yet at the same time you people have hangups about natural sɛҳuąƖ functions and relationships,
so dont tell me you venerate nature. You extend this catholic know it all arrogance to science.
Even if im wrong about how harmful it is to drink a chemical that is used to treat ear wax,
it does not change the fact that you should have a bit of humility and not dare to presume you know more than doctors.

fine im out of this thread. too much religious crazy in it.
All canned foods in the grocery stores contain food grade h2o2 to keep from rotting.

100 proof vodka or Everclear is inexpensive and whatever other medications or remedies you use, soaking the feet in one of these wouldn't do any harm and you can start immediately.

  • And while your at it, I hear toilet roll carries bacteria that can harm your system.
You should all wipe yourselves with leaves. Toilet roll is from the devil.

No, don’t use leaves they are contaminated with chemtrail poisons.  What you need is that old-fashioned toilet paper with wood splinters in it.  Yeah, that’s the ticket!

  • I've tried tea tree oil, it was simply mitigating, not enough. OTC antifungals, ditto, mitigation, not a cure. Vinegar, baking soda. ditto.

Fungal infections infect the toenail entirely, so topical stuff that doesn't soak into the toenail sufficently and kill fungus sufficiently doesn't work.

A doctor told me once the way to deal with it is to get a prescription topical antifungal, that these are stronger and better at soaking into the toenail itself. That'd probably be what to try next, if you're afraid of the consequences of oral medication which requires multiple doctor visits to test and make sure you're not harmed by it internally, and that's understandably a concern.
