There are resistance priests all over the US and Canada. Bishop Z is not the only one, you realize that right. If you like send me pm and I will find you a fully resistance priest.
Bishop Z is often slow to respond to messages. But if he is the closest then hang on. There is Fr. Ringrose in DC, Fr. Hoopes in Michigan, Fr. Morel in Baton Rouge, and further west, you have other priests, like Fr. Voigt, Fr. Sretenovic etc. etc. There are many options.
OP here. I know the ones you mentioned. Bishop Z is still the closest and it will make most sense because we plan to move there anyway. With that being said do you think it's possible to contact one of them for marriage preparation so that when he decides we're ready he can pass us to Bp Z?

Why not marry where you go to Mass? It's going to be difficult enough for you to do marriage preparation when you don't live in the same location. Attempting to do that in a place that neither of you live would be even worse. You don't have to agree with everything the SSPX does to be married by an SSPX priest.
Interesting idea. Will they do it if they know the couple is Resistance? I heard stories about them rejecting resistance couple before...

You can do that. And some of them might say yes to it, but honestly I consider that a little rude. Why would get marriage prep from a priest and not have him do the wedding?

That's what I thought too. That's why I only contacted the bishop. But I don't know if H.E. does matrimony at all, or if he will respond to me. That's why I asked here on the forum. Maybe somebody who knows H.E. could answer?

Just contact the other priests. Bishop Z is very busy. He is a bishop after all.
