  • For praying the rosary on a daily basis, is it okay to switch out rosaries?  Or would it be better to use one rosary all the time?

  • Our Lord and Our Lady want you to say the rosary daily. They don't care what color rosary you're using to pray it.

Do you mean switch outr rosaries?
Do you mean switch our rosary beads, or rosary mysteries?

Don't forget to proofread your response (if any).

Yes, you can even count with your 10 fingers (if you do have 10 fingers!) if you don't have the rosary beads.

However, there are many more indulgences gained when using the beads, so it pays to use them.

The original OP had no errors of grammar in it!

There won't be the indulgences for the finger method...

  • The original OP probably meant to ask that is it more appropriate to have a regular, blessed by a validly ordained Catholic Priest, and used for each time you pray the rosary.

Do you guys and girls think that owning several rosaries, of course all blessed by a validly ordained Catholic Priest, takes anything away as if you were not being monogamous?

Are you sure about that? I've never read/heard that anywhere. I was told that counting with your fingers, or what have you, merits the same as praying with the beads.

Is that me you're banging on the head? Can't  feel it so maybe it's not!

I didn't mention grammar. Do you, dear "guest unregistered", know what "switch out rosaries" means? 'Cause I certainly didn't.:pop:

    Curiouser and curiouser!

Are you referring to your own marital state here? Or is this a hypothetical question?

None of my dozen or so rosaries have ever complained to me about infidelity or expressed any negative feelings towards me when I use one of the others to pray.

Nobody is bound to use a particular set of rosary beads, and you are not decreasing or dividing the amount or availability of any potential graces, indulgences, etc. by using different rosaries.

I had some pamphlets on the indulgences the Popes over the years have attached to the recitation of the Rosary. Some of them specified the necessity of using the beads to gain the indulgence, and others didn't. I'm sorry I don't have it on hand.

As far as merit is concerned, I can't say.
