  • Should not a register now be kept of all those people who are willing to house and feed the SSPX priests who do not follow Bishop Fellay into the Conciliar Church,  of those people who are willing to contribute money to maintain these priests and rent out Mass Centers, and of those who are willing to set up Mass Centers either on teir own premises or elsewhere. Perhaps Bishop Williamson should hold such a register, or maybe this Forum could set up a register and invite pledges. We are running out of time. Some priests may follow BpF rather than be left out on the street.

  • I have today e-mailed two priests of our district, offering them food and shelter in the event they do not want to follow Bp Fellay into the Novus Ordo Church.

  • Will you still support the clergy if they become convinced that Benedict is not a true pope?

May I presume "Unregistered Guest" will be the first name on the register?

I haven't posted on the Guest Forum for a while and didn't realize posting rules had changed.  I saw the check box just after I clicked the Submit button.  I did not intend to post anonymously.  This message is posted by TKGS.

Should we present priests who wish to leave the reconciled SSPX, with a questionnaire before helping them out?. Must we prepare further splits even before the Split?

    Ok, Mr. TKGS.

I'm going to come after you and your family now, since I now know where you live.

Yes. If the priest is faithful, yes.

  • Seems a pretty subjective judgement as to whether the priest is faithful or not.

Highly unlikely that the part of the SSPX that refuses the blind agreement can hold together if everyone is priest sifting like that.

Look at the fragmentation of independents and SVs.

I'd pray for a miracle.  Without it, looks to me like Tradition is done for.

I meant faithful to the official teachings of the real Church.

We catholics desperately need a true pope. Until then we're bound to be scattered.
Let's carry this burden with the help of God's grace.

Only concerning quantity, not concerning quality.
As long as there are catholics who uphold the Faith, the Church exists.

  • The SSPX and every other trad group abandoned many trad Catholics to the Novus Ordites.

    Why help them now?

Well some of us want to help, in whatever way we can, the non-compromised section of the SSPX. As far as we are concerned, these are the priests who do not want to abandon either themselves or us to the Novus Ordo Church

  • If the society priests are looking for a place to go, look to the "old guard" that stood up and disagreed when it counted. Perhaps look to Fr. Merano, and others that were cast out on an ear, when they vocalized their disagreements. Go to the independent priests (not necessarily sedes, even better if they're not) for advice. God knows many of them have so much responsibility as it is, and would like their loads to be lightened if they possibly can be. There are many places for the SSPX priests that would not stand for such an agreement no matter how it was sliced (barring a total and complete reversal from Rome of Vatican II and the garbage that came after it, along with expelling those who would not take the Oath Against Modernism, and so forth.)

Father Berry, Father Bolduc, and others, could advise well, since they've endured much of this persecution already.

It's great to know that someone is standing up to be counted.
