It is not that difficult to get to heaven, one just must learn to trust in Jesus Christ, have confidence and pray that you will learn to love the Truth, know the Truth when you hear it and ask God or the Blessed Virgin Mary to give you the grace to act on this Truth. The truth will set you free.  Freedom = happiness, so what is so hard about that!  

Also God does not send us to hell, we choose to go there ourselves with the choices we make.  

Take the atheist for example, why would the atheist choose to go to heaven in the after life, when while in this life the atheist want nothing to do with God, so why would the atheist want to be with God for all eternity?
