  • Do you donate blood?  Have you ever?  Is it moral?

  • Yes.  Donating your blood is moral.  I cannot even see a moral problem with selling your blood.

    I used to donate blood regularly until a few years ago when the blood bank decided that I was no longer an acceptable donor because I had lived in Europe during the mid-1980s and they say that the risk that I was exposed to "Mad Cow Disease" is too great to accept my blood.

  • I have not. I don't think it is immoral but I am not sure if there is a Church teaching on it.. It may actually be charitable.

    I think it is charitable. If nobody gave blood, then many more people would die in hospitals than do now because of the lack of blood.
