  • Dear Friends,

Please send up some prayers for my poor soul.

    Thanks,
    God bless,
    Mike
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • I will keep you in my mind when praying the Rosary, today, Mike.

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary / Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

    Latin Version: Memorare
Amen.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  •
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • It is very poignant when a soul asks for prayer.
I ask my very powerful guardian angel to assist yours, Michael.   Also, look to your patron, St. Michael Archangel.  He is an exceedingly faithful intercessor.

recently i had a minor health problem that was persistent.  I prayed for intercession from my favorite saints who have always helped me in the past, this time to no avail.  It was the first time my many prayers and novenas were not answered. So I was resigning myself that it was God's Will I should continue to suffer, inevitably the situation to escalate.
Suddenly at that moment of resignation, I felt the undeniable presence of Christ. He asked me why I did not go to Him in my sadness.  (I always feel unworthy to ask Him directly, and go to Our BVM or the saint to assist).   From that moment I began to heal.  Nothing else had been successful.  Deo Gratias.
