The Anonymous subforum is not "the Wild West" or a place where anything goes.

And when you post here, you are not anonymous before God or before me. I can look up the identity of any of the posts here. It takes a few minutes, and I'm not interested in looking up every post, so with 99% of the posts I let people have their privacy. But I've never made a pretense that these posts were to be anonymous to the moderators at all times.

That is to say, if someone is trolling I will certainly not refrain from looking up to see who posted it. You have to behave yourself in this subforum, just like in the rest of CathInfo. And when deciding on a course of action (warnings, banning, etc.) I will certainly take one's anonymous sub-forum posting history into consideration.

The Anonymous subforum IS moderated, and has the same standards as the rest of the forum. The only difference is that your existing reputation/username is not attached to the posts, so you can discuss more sensitive topics or those you might not want to be associated with you for whatever reason.

But you can't use the Anonymous subforum as a cloak for malice. Sorry.
