  • I've heard a lot of good said about the Franco regime in Spain.  Whats your take on this?

  • Catholic in every way. Fascist, Catholic totalitarian state.
Did not let false religions "publicly" advertise/announce their "false-religion" worship services.
They could only do it in private.

Catholic hour and Angelus on all the Spanish radio and TV stations (50's).
To false religions: Tolerate, but not accept them.
    Anti-fag, pro-life.

After the II Vat council, Spain started to go downhill VERY FAST.

  • He was a real Catholic. I hope he is in heaven (I think there is a better chance that he is in heaven than any other modern day head of state.)

  • The Caudillo was the Judas Maccabeus of our age. If there had been a few more men like him the western cultural revolution would most likely have been forestalled & there would have been no generation of '68. It shows forth very well the malice & the utter folly of "liberty" & "democracy" & all the rest of the rot. I think General Franco is probably already in Heaven, if so he is assuredly praying for his beloved Spain & for all of those lands which once constituted Christendom. Descanse en paz caudillo.
