  • Fr. Rostand is coming to my mass site next week. I'm a bit concerned. I've heard we have clear conditions on whether the SSPX will stay at our church or not. With the reports of withholding communion from people that express a different opinion than that of +Fellay, I am somewhat worried about it. Maybe I'm not even a blip on the radar. I try to be very respectful when expressing my views on things. I can't help but think about what might happen. I have informed board members of this injustice. The reaction won't be good if communion is withheld from anyone at my Church that approaches next Sunday, if it's withheld for reasons of expressing views publicly that deny nothing contained within teachings of Holy Mother the Church.

  • Father Rostand is going around and trying encouraging defection from Catholic Tradition, using his threats against priests to deprive Catholics of the sacraments if they don't follow the neo-traditionalist pro-modernist line.

  • He can't throw his weight around here if he expects the SSPX to stay at this mass site. They have no leverage. They're not getting the property of this Mass site. They're there to administer the sacraments. If they try to throw their weight around, they're going to be shown the door, I'm sure.

Have there really been multiple instances of this? I've read of one here online, but can't think of any other reports that individuals have been denied sacraments.

  • I know one case, first-hand, where Fr. Rostand commanded an American priest to fire TWO prominent parishioners from their volunteer positions.

One was the chapel treasurer, the other was the lead schola/choir member. They didn't do anything wrong, unless you count "relating true events involving  Fr. Rostand on the Internet".

They got rid of your treasurer too, huh?

I say that because I seriously doubt it's the same one.

  • Oh, you can have some fun!

Be creative and prepare some questions.

    For example:

"Father, when go to the Holy Land on pligrimage, should we include a visit to the h0Ɩ0cαųst shrine?"

"This could show SSPX unity with our "elder brothers" and prove we are not αnтι-ѕємιтєs."

    Be not afraid.

Don't forget to bring a smartphone, so you can record it all.

  • Yes, please, by all means, record his speech ! I would like to see what he has to say at a chapel, if I understand right, the SSPX does not own.
