  • The new mass is a Protestant rite, harmful and sinful.

Catholics must not go to the new order mass.

No one on this forum goes to NO except for poche maybe.

  • No. There are some posters here who go to the Novus Ordo. Often because they have no Latin Mass available and they have decided that it is better to go to the Novus Ordo than to no Mass at all. Isn't that the position of the Ecclesia Dei groups? That it is better to go to the Latin Mass, but if you cannot they say you should go to the Novus Ordo.
    R.I.P.
Please pray for the repose of my soul.

  • I know that when I go to the Ordinary Form, I am attending the Mass that is offered all over the world, by all the Priests in the entire Church, including the Pope.  My Priest is not a heretic, and gives a Catholic sermon.  I love the Ordinary Form.  I have many memories of my youth at the Ordinary Form.

You just blew it for yourself. If you consider that going to a mockery of the unbloody sacrifice of Calvary is made pleasing to God because it's performed all over the world, by all the conciliar priests in the entire conciliar church, loving the great sacrilege,  - you don't know what a Catholic sermon even is.

I was forced to go to the  new mass for my wife's aunt's   funeral ....I stood in the back uncomfortably away from the wife .  It wasn't easy

That is also the stated position of Bishop Williamson and Father Pfeiffer.

So the fact that lots of priests say the Novus Ordo somehow makes up for the fact that it's a man-centered Protestant service?  You're kidding yourself.
I apologize for all rude, calumnious, uncharitable, and unchristian posts I have made, and I retract them.

  • Funerals, weddings, social things only. US Lutherans took the Bugnini liturgy almost unchanged, which should say something.
