  • I thought Fr. McKenna was serving a chapel in the Boston area? I thought he was with Fr. Vallancourt and that his organization, the Willing Shepherds, had ties to Bp. McKenna, now I see he is in Cincinnati with Bp. Dolan and now a someone with a sketchy background is at his former church in Boston? What is going on?

Bishop Dolan ordained Father McKenna in Boston, and he (Fr McKenna) apparently has now moved to Ohio to work with His Excellency.

I heard Fr. Bactiger was taking care of Sacred Heart church in Boston for a time, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. Now I heard Florent Grassigli has been ordained and is possibly helping out at that church now? I also heard mention that Fr Bernard Hall may have said Mass recently at Sacred Heart Church in Boston? Anyone know?

  • There is obviously something more to this story.  Fr. McKenna was a Willing Shepherd brother before he became a priest.  Now, he is working with Bp. Dolan and not serving the order he was ordained to work for.

The group who like to be known as "Willing Shepherds" are not an order.

  • All I know about Bishop McKenna was that he used to be in Monroe Connecticut Our Lady of the Rosary if I am not mistaken.   I heard that he used to be an exorcist priest.

  • It would be great if there were hispanic traditional Catholic priests on the east cost because right now the liberal novus ordo is exploiting and using these people to promote socialism, modernism and communism...

Bishop McKenna and Fr. McKenna are two different people with the same last name.

That does not answer any of the above questions. Curious that no one knows anything. :detective:

Based on their website, they are a chapter of the Dominican third order.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir
