    Dear Faithful,

Fathers Francois Chazal and Joseph Pfeiffer, who had work very hard in India for many years, have nevertheless decided to take a public position against that of the Superior General and thus, on October 1st, 2012, have been expelled from the Society of St Pius X. Thus, they are no longer allowed to celebrate masses in any of our mass centers in the District of Asia.

Let us nevertheless keep them in our prayers so that one day they may see the dead end road they have chosen for themselves and those who will follow them and will humbly come back.

In the service of Christ the King and His Immaculate Mother,

    Fr. Daniel Couture

"Let us nevertheless keep them in our prayers so that one day they may see the dead end road they have chosen for themselves and those who will follow them and will humbly come back."

Don't seems like the two Frs have come to a dead end road?????

The purpose of the post? My suspicion that he is using the bait of giving them back their jobs IN THE ASIA DISTRICT in return for their giving up their resistance against the trend Bp Fellay has initiated.

BY GOLLY! You hit the nail. I see what you mean. The 'fishes' has fallen for the bait. Actually, slowly but surely, one can see the turn of events, Yesterday Yes, Today No, Tomorrow Yes Yes again.

Naww! "My suspicion that he is using the bait of giving them back their jobs IN THE ASIA DISTRICT in return for their giving up their resistance against the trend Bp Fellay has initiated." AND  "BY GOLLY! You hit the nail. I see what you mean. The 'fishes' has fallen for the bait. Actually, slowly but surely, one can see the turn of events, Yesterday Yes, Today No, Tomorrow Yes Yes again" ...............is not happening with Fr. Pfeiffer or Fr. Chazal. I strongly believed that the only way for the Frs would want their jobs back is for Bishop Fellay and Fr. Couture to resign. Yes, take the cue from B16, to resign at the same time.

Anyway, I think one of the Frs has already set up base in one of the Asian district?????In war terms, that would mean 'entrechment'!!

If he is a donor, then definitely. For the King-Emperor loveth a cheerful giver!! And if he gives a lot, then he should expect picture postcards from Fr Trevor Lin Man from all over the world in the course of 2013.

  • Fr Couture was delighted to visit Ireland again from 6-15th jan, his first extensivevisit after 15 years as sspx superior of Asia. Travvelling around all the chapels and Mass-centers. Father was able to celebrate Mass and give slide shows on his work and apostolate, and was grateful for all the generous donations recieved.

Approximately how many faithful are there in Ireland? Is Fr Ramon Angles still there?

I wonder if Fr Joseph Lester, the first ( and ill-fated ) Bursar (sic) of the Asia District would also "thumbs down" this post? More of this to come....

It seems that New Zealand has been removed from the Asia District and returned to the restored Australia-New Zealand District. This will mightily please the majority of the NZ faithful I hear. Sr Marie Rose of the NZ Dominicans commented about this restoration in the latest issue of the e-Apostle magazine. Was there any announcement made by Fr Couture?

No idea if they have been replaced. If rumors ( yes, yet again!) are correct, NZ was taken away from the Australia District because of a difference of opinion between Fr Laisney (NZ Prior) and Fr Black (Aus. Superior) over the servicing of New Caledonia.
Now that both men are no longer in those positions the old Australia-New Zealand District has been revived. Fr Laisney is now based in Singapore.
