    • Is there anyone here who was present during Fr. Crane's sermon in Arizona?

    I just received a call from a parish member stating that he told people in the parish to not spend so much time with their devotions and praying to stop abortion.


    Does anyone know anything else about this?

    • Huh?  What was the context?  There's a big difference between making a blanket statement for everyone to cut back on prayers and rebuking certain individuals for neglecting their duty of state in favor of long hours of prayers.

    I agree that more context is needed.  The OP should call his friend who was (evidently) present and get more information.
