IMO, he is about as rock-solid as one can find in Traddieland. I've known him since my own seminary days in MI. He is learned, virtuous and when he sings chant -- which he does beautifully -- one wonders whether or not he has an extra lung. If I lived out there, I would definitely go to his chapel. FWIW, the chapel was actually begun by Fr. Adam Cyr, but he arranged for Fr. Ercoli to take over when he (Cyr) went to Argentina.
