Les Carmélites installées en France suivent la règle primitive (avec le Père Tiago ou Jacques de Saint Jospeh) A l'origine brésiliennes, elles ont dû émigrer au Paraguay quand elles sont revenues à la règle primitive ... avec la liturgie traditionnelle. Du Paraguay, elles sont passées au Portugal, en Irlande ... et maintenant installées dans une maison achetée près de chez l'abbé Morgan.
A savoir : elles ont essayé de rejoindre la FSSPX mais Menzingen a répondu : "qu'elles devaient d'abord être en ordre avec leur évêque" ... Ils sont arrivés à la Fidélité !

I should know French because I took it in school for seven years, but I did no absorb it. I am, however planning to read my copy of "Le Petit Prince" and translate it so I can understand it. That would be killing two birds with one stone as I would like to learn other languages and learn about faerie tales and children's stories, and I don't know of a better children's story from the twentieth century than "The Little Prince."

I read french (poorly) and watched 2 minutes of the video, and find he is easier to follow and understand than many french speakers.
I believe that he is speaking of the Carmel who departed the diocese in Brazil, for Paraguay and are now in France. Sean Johnston posted the news via their first newsletter, in French, a couple of days ago.

I can understand French ok when reading it. It's harder to listen to it. I understand what is written here and Nadire just provided the summary in English.

Some of us do. This video was released a couple of months ago and indeed tells their story. I wish a lot of people in this forum could understand French, Italian and Spanish. I frequently see questions that because of the English speaking culture (I'm generalizing) are hard to understand but make sense to someone from a former Catholic country. For instance, I've lived in tbe US for 20 years now and there is a tendency to give more weight to the letter of a statement than the spirit and context in which it was exposed by the messager. On the other hand, I must admit that is Latin countries you can find tbe opposite, acting by personal interpretation. Does it make sense?
