This question is for the men to answer....what does it mean to you for a woman (your wife) to RESPECT you?

Oxford dictionaries definition of respect:

2. due regard for the feelings, wishes, or rights of others

So respect in the context of matrimony would be deeply held regard for the husband's feelings (his love of his wife, his sense of honor, his just anger at a wife's failings, etc). She must observe his wishes and honor the rights over her that she gave him with her vows.

It doesn't mean that the man has to be considered worthy of high admiration and esteem. That's a different definition of respect.

Yes there is respect because someone is in the position they are in.
