    • Reports say that the editor of The Flying Squirrel, Fr Christophe Beaublat, a prior in the SSPX Asia District has quit the Society and has placed himself under Bishop Dominique Marie Jean Rey of the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon in France.

    "Reports"? Reports from whom? from where?

    As this is a matter of some note, more information, especially more precise information, is called for. Hearsay is simply inadequate. It may also be totally unfair to Father Beaublat and to interested readers.

    Its only unfair to SSPX faithful who have been unstintingly local to this organization. The priests, as and when they feel like it, pluck up their buttocks and waddle away in every and any direction they please, away from the Society and even from the priesthood itself. The SSPX Asia District is a champion district for this sort of behavior.

    • He departed for France from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai wearing a pair of multi pocket, combat style bermuda shorts and a tee shirt. Earlier this year he attended a residential Novus Ordo seminar in southern India on Peaceful Communications.

    • Following the departure of Fr Valan to the Resistance, Fr Brucciani was removed as Prior of India and replaced by Fr Beaublat. Now, it seems, that Fr Brucciani is back as Prior!!!!
