Coming to believe in flat earth has profoundly changed the way I see the world. I love thinking about it in my backyard. For years the stars, sun and moon looked one way to me, now that is all slowly changing. The stars orbiting overhead, the moon, not that far away, lighting up the nite. Everything flattened out. I can't really put it all into words, but it is such an awesome change in the way I see the world around me, but it's subtle. I have to sort of look for it. The best is the clouds and the sky, just thinking of them turning around our flat earth. It just seems so more Godly than the magic globe. :laugh1:

Oops! Sorry if this is supposed to be in the "ghetto"

no it's totally normal. People hate the flat earth and those who come to see it. You are right to be prudent and post anonymously. Get in touch with the folks over on the flat earth trads forum and you will have plenty to talk about and friends to make.

The Copernican Principle: Darwin's Trojan Horse
The Copernican Principle is that the earth cannot have an important place in the universe. I guess it's an unspoken rule that you have to follow if you want to get anywhere in a career in astronomy. Edwin Hubble, a famous astronomer which the hubble telescope is named after, expressed it when he realized the obvious conclusion from his research was that the earth was in the center of the universe and that everything else seemed to be moving away from it, however, he thought that couldn't be true, because the earth isn't allowed to be that important.
This video argues that the copernican principle implies a materialistic view of the universe and our world and that led to materialism in biology, which led to darwinism.

I think you could draw the conclusion that the Copernican Principle also led to the sociological and anthropological principles of equality among all races, genders and classess. Of course, religions too.
I mean, if the Earth and Sun didn't hold a special place, why should anyone or anything else! Moreover, if they had, it would consistute unmerited privilege, which should be atoned for. Hence, affirmative action, h0Ɩ0cαųst reparations and hillary howling about glass ceilings.
-
Oh!, and of course, the priesthood, monarchy and the aristocracy would have to go too.

So we can blame Copernicus for hillary howling?

That's an excellent video. It gives really good evidence for the false 'theory of evolution' as being traced back to the Copernican Principle.
And yes, earth cannot be that important, if the Copernican model is true. But it cannot be.
The video briefly mentions that scientists after Copernicus try to fit everything into a mathematical model, as if everything in God's universe can be boiled down to math, and therefore materialism. I have to wonder about the supernatural aspect of God, and the creation of the universe. Surely not everything can be summed up with math, no matter how advanced the math seems to be.

Yeah, instead of Divine Revelation, it's math/physics! What a boring Universe to live in. How uninspiring.

Yes! :laugh1:
