  • I didn't know Scalia drove many miles to go to a pre-vatican II kind of Church!

    But I did know he was a devout Catholic so shouldn't be surprised. I tried to get the link for this but lost it somehow.

    I sometimes get a feeling that Scalia is in Heaven already... although the avg stay in Purgatory is something like 40 yrs. But he was not your avg Catholic so maybe it is God telling me he is in Heaven, or at least a high level of Purgatory?

    In any case, I have had interesting experiences praying to (or through?) him.. Maybe he was  someone who should be canonized?

  • Scalia lived in Northern Virginia. I've heard Northern Virginia/DC has its fair share of Latin Masses, which means he probably didn't go far.

    i cant recall every book i have ever read but one thing is for sure: I only read religious books that have a nihil obstat

    so you can trust that it was no.. National Inquirer

    and it doesn't surprise me that people are in Prgtry that long... seeing all the evil in the world (and within)
