ok I know most of you here don’t watch television but I do check my local news every night and have noticed that when they feature a story about someone being killed by gun violence, the family members are interviewed within a day or two about the person who was killed, and the family members don’t even cry or show any emotions about their loved one who just died so tragically, and recent too. I mean I have seen a few people sniffing and dabbing tissue on their eyes but that’s the most.
I know that I wouldn’t even be able to talk straight after something so sudden and horrific happened to one of my close family members.
The interviews all have a similar feel to them and usually have a
eulogy sound to it too, ie, ‘he/she was a wonderful human being/ they had a great sense of humor/ always made us laugh/ would give the coat off their back’
I just can’t imagine myself speaking this way after the tragic loss of someone I loved due to a crime..or any other way for that matter. I mean I’m talking murder, ѕυιcιdє, even accidental gun discharge..just
awful.
Don’t get me wrong I know there must be crime in most cities, but why fake ones on local news stations?
I am litterally looking for legit emotion and have not seen hardly any at all. And this has been at least two years for me since I started noticing this strange trend.
Anyone have similar experience or do they know what is going on with the local news?
