    • Is it wrong for me to watch or listen to Dr. Mike Murdock who is a televangelist heretic? Although I probably disagree with roughly half of what he says, he is still entertaining and funny. I don't listen to him for spiritual insight but more for his wisdom about every day life. Although, anything he does say that is in accordance with Catholic teaching, I will find edifying. 

    I do like his love songs to the Holy Spirit. He sings and plays the piano pretty good. 

    He has a lot of haters. Many call him a grifter. 

    Whatever he is, please pray for his conversion to the Catholic Faith.

    Ill pray for his conversion. I must admit one  favourite song of mine is the Vatican Rag by Tom Lehrer as it half wittingly mocks the Councils Changes but the verses on Confession and
     Transubstantion are blasphemous (bad look on me I know) but it has that catchy Jazz tune to it and once you hear it stays with you. All I can say is hopefully youre grown enough to prudently separate the music from the nonsense he may espouse as a televangelist.

    • With all the recorded trad priest's sermons/chants out there these days, I don't know why trads listen to laymen at all, makes no sense to me. Dr. Mike Murdock is not even a doctor, he's just another prot fraud, one of the false prophets God told us to beware of, that means God told us to not listen to. He told us that because there is a danger to our soul if we listen.

    So to the OP, yes, it wrong for you to watch or listen to Dr. Mike Murdock who is a televangelist heretic.

    The True Church prohibits attending Protestant temples, so in the germane spirit, do avoid Prot sermons // preachers. Understand the First Commandment . God is jealous.
