  • Does Bishop Fellay believe the conciliar church and the Catholic Church are the same thing, or does he believe there is a conciliar church and the Catholic Church and that these are seperate things?

    About the conciliar church,

    Archbishop Lefebvre said:
    Quote
Reflections on Suspension a divinis, June 29, 1976:

To whatever extent pope, bishops, priests or faithful adhere to this new Church, they separate themselves from the Catholic Church.

  • It seems pretty clear that he does believe they are the same.  So do I, so good for him up to a point I guess.  It is impossible to reconcile this with ABL's statement however.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir
