    [qu

That's the way ashes are distributed in Italy. It has nothing to do with Pope Francis.

As someone else said, there is plenty of legitimate stuff to criticize and be concerned about. This isn't one of those things.

    get outa here!

i was just sharing, for one thing. And i am not sure you are right that Italy is right to do things that way... as you imply. So what if Italy does that? Italy long ago stopped being one of the most Catholic countries..

The ashes should be on the forehead to show the world we are followers of Christ

"If you deny Me before men, I will deny you before the Father"

Maybe we should all get together to contact Pope Francis to correct his errors.
You could write letters, email or twitter Pope Francis.
    And pray for his conversion.
    haven't u heard?

    he is not listening

if he doesn't listen to Cardinal Burke ... and on top of that exiles him to Malta

why would he listen to us peasants?

  • The rule is that if a man be in the married state and is then ordained a priest he must cease physical relations with the wife under pain of excommunication. It is canon law. Can't remember which one though.... I don't think they are even allowed to live together any longer either.
Many people say "For the Honor and Glory of God!" but, what they should say is "For the Love, Glory and Honor of God". - Fr. Paul of Moll

You make a good point.  But it is worth a try.  And it would be interesting to see what kind if response is sent back.

I think it's a great idea for us to write some sort of collective letter to Papa Francisco.  I think that they probably check forums like these.

  • Yes, I bet they DO check forums like these...

" yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you, will think that he doth a service to God." ( John 6:1)

They have to know where to find us

  • Yes, he is a heretic.  No Precious Blood.  This means, he brings no Precious Blood to the altar for the parishioners to receive.  All Sacraments have Precious Blood of Christ, IF, the priest is Ordained with the true sacrament of Holy Orders.  So, he is a heretic with no Holy Orders. New Order changed the sacrament of Holy Orders to nothing in 1968.  Therefore all clergy from 1968 have no Holy Orders, no consecration(the way Luther invented) and so for ALL clergy under the pope are ALL nothing.  But they are clearly, Marxist.

  • It is my understanding that Francis, in his first encyclical, stated that the Jєωs could hold on to the old covenant. According to what I know of the Catholic faith, that is heresy. I believe one day the church will declare these conciliar popes to be invalid.

  • did u see Pope F on Ash Wednesday?

he was putting ashes onto the top of people's heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where of course no one can see the cross the ashes make!!

we wouldn't want the world to know we love Jesus, now would we?

conversely, there was a woman on Special Report.. wish i could recall her name.. she proudly wore her cross of ashes to the show... I just love people like that!!!!!!!!

And it was the biggest forehead cross I have ever seen on Ash W!!!!!!!!   I would like to think the priest did that on purpose, knowing she would be on Fox News later...

    :)
Did you read the question in the topic name? It asks about whether or not Francis is a heretic. Ashes don't count in the heretic department. Too much Fox News, I'm afraid. It muddies the thinking!

That is not true according to my info. If a man was protestant all his life and married while outside the Catholic Church and wants to be a priest he can do so and does not have divorce or abstain from relations w/ his wife. I am 99% sure of that

i never wanted to think that, but have always had an uneasy feeling about the last several popes. I never heard of Pope JP II saying anything weird or heretical sounding, except that he kissed the Koran!! Yikes! but that was b4 all this Islamic terrorism (ISIS) so---
I heard F (dont care if that is disrespectful b/c frankly, i dont respect him) was telling priests to accept co-habitors, fornicators!

    I was responding to this:

and to the fact that this thread is about the question of whether or not you think Pope Francis is a heretic. Now ashes on the forehead or on the head do not count when it comes to heresy. So the matter of ashes is completely extraneous to the topic.

Yes, the list is a mile long of all the heretical things that were said and done by the conciliar popes. We are not to judge their intentions, but we can determine by their actions that they weren't even Catholic and a pope has to be a Catholic!!!
