    • I say Yes

    latest bizarre, heretical statement:

    "It is worse to be a hypocrite than an atheist"

    maybe if he had said EGREGIOUS hypocrite, i could kind of understand (maybe?) but from what i know, he didn't say that

    Jesus said that no one "comes to the Father except through Me"

    hypocrite or not, you have a good chance of getting to Heaven if you TRY to do what Jesus said. Of course you will fail. Of course you will be a "hypocrite" AND plenty will be more than happy to ACCUSE of such...

    But someone who rejects Christ has NO chance at all

    • I believe firmly he's a full-blown, manifest heretic. Some people call him an apostate, but I doubt he ever held the Faith at all.

    • I think Pope Francis is as Catholic as they come.  I think he gets the worst media spin that there has ever been.  I think he is someone that doesn't have the traditions question set, a la the Ordinary Form, etc...  he is a convinced Ordinary Former Catholic, and I take him as my Pope.  He needs our prayers.  He is a monarch.  He is not a presidential authority.  He is a Divine Monarch, and as such, deserves that level of obedience and respect.  Viva Papa Francisco!

    Catholic Religion.

    In this case Pope Francis makes sense. It is more logical to be an atheist than a Catholic who is living in unrepentant sin. At least the atheist doesn't know any better. Whereas the hypocritical Catholic professes to be a believer and acts like an atheist.

    This is far more hideous than most people realize. Our own pope is a heretic. I used to question that, used to think i was going too far and of course maybe I am b/c he hasn't OFFFICIALLY taught heresy (yet). I mean, as far as I know, there is no ex cathedra level statement or proclamation that is heretical.. but geeze, this is ridiculous

    time to get out the rosaries

    anyone who blindly follows a heretic just b/c he wears the proper garments and is head of our Church

    that is the definition of cult member. You either follow Jesus or someone else. It's black or white
