Man, and the vast majority of the conciliar bishops, are followers of the world. They blend a little bit of Christianity into their thinking, to be the so-called leaven for the bread, but their primary center of thinking and acting if of the material world. It's exhibited in everything they say and do.
They have embraced modernism entirely and they show this when they say that we must change to meet the spiritual needs of the man of today. They think they are being pastoral and caring, but they are just materialistic "monks".
Of course, many conciliar bishops are openly hostile to Catholicism and they gladly proclaim it. There are numerous examples of this in the world of conciliarism.
The ones who are sincere, and we can rightly question their intelligence and their intellectual discernment if not their heart, are just dupes who are bewildered by what is going on in the conciliar church. Some of these dupes are to be pitied.
