I can honstly say I have never in my life been "snarky" to anyone unless that person was snarky first. True, you shouldn't be .. um.. should not lower yourself to that level regardless of what a person says but... and here is another thing Even when I am sarcastic or sardonic or what have you, it is rarely on the same level of malice that the person who started it was at vis a vis me.
Almost anyone can be nice to those who are nice to them.  In the Bible it is mentioned that even the pagans love those who love them.  The tough part is being good to those who persecute you and kind to those who are "snarky".  ???
It is definitely easier said than done, but here's to trying our best!

In what regards do you mean that you're not sure what God wants you to do?  Are you talking about a vocation or are you talking about how to live your life or what occupation to pursue, etc?

If you are a young person and unsure what vocation God is calling you to, it may very well be to the religious life.  The only way to investigate if this is the life you are being called to is to seek a religious vocation for a time and you will figure it out.  It would take years before you would take final vows so you would most definitely be able to discern your vocation.  The question is whether you are a man or a woman to find an appropriate venue.  I am confident, however, that God is not calling you to the Conciliar sect because he wishes your salvation.

If you are talking about how you live your life or your occupation, then the above poster suggesting that it is the devil trying to confuse you is probably correct.

I don't think the general membership can really help you here.  You need to speak with someone one-on-one.
thanks for your input. I disagree w/ one thing, though: no Church (or "church") can stop you from being saved if you want to be saved... except that the saints say you cannot be saved outside the Catholic Church. Jesus has not entirely abandoned the "conciliar" church as you call it

God wants you to know love and serve him.  Practice Christian charity with your current duty or whoever is front of you right now. The end
impossible to do with all the clowns in the world.. clowns, meaning thugs and... well.... :cussing: people who make you want to do this all the time  :cussing:

yeh, trying our best... that is all that will get us to Heaven b/c we will never be absolutely perfect, at least not without the fires of purgatory. Some wait to do their purgation, but it is said it is best to do it all in this life. I don't know... I guess that is true but sometimes-- oh never mind... dont feel like talking about certain things.. might make the devil too happy or something

Well, we don't have to confide in others and have them confide in us in order to be of help to one another...
That is the amazing thing about the Communion of Saints.
We can all pray for each other without having to know all the details of each other's lives.
Keep fighting and don't be discouraged!  :)

That would depend entirely on the opportunities you are given to know better.

I hope everyone out there is praying for THE CHURCH
it looks like Satan has taken it over about 99%
I have sometimes felt while in the Real Presence, both the Presence of Jesus and the presence of the enemy, and no one can tell me it was NOT the enemy.. I know evil when i feel it
it seems t he Church is entirely lost. . but maybe the devil just wants us to believe that.. so to (*&^ w/ him --I will maintain otherwise

I am sure that the Apostles felt the same when Our Blessed Lord was being crucified.
We must be strong like Saint John and the women with Our Blessed Mother at the foot of the cross and be faithful to God and His Church even though is seems as if there is no hope and all is wrong.
The prayers of a few who truly trust in God can do a lot of good.  So, we will keep fighting and hope for the best!   :)

that one line of yours hit home: even though it seems as if there is no hope and all is wrong
The devil is allowed to do a lot, it seems [sigh]
Life can be a bit discouraging at times, but be strong and keep fighting the good fight!
The Bible says that "He who persevereth unto the end shall be saved."
And the saints say that, "No man who has died truly loving God has ever gone to hell."
So, there is always hope as long as we don't give up and keep trying our best!  :)
