  • Blasphemy is one of the worst mortal sins.
On a current thread there is a blasphemy.
Why could the poster not have expressed his meaning in some other way?
What an atrocious example he sets.
Let us set a good example on CathInfo.
If even here, we sin publicly, then scandal is given to the readers of these evil blasphemies.
It is so important to not blaspheme.
Let us set a good example on CathInfo.

  • Not only blasphemy, but also calumny, hatred and anger. Some so-called 'Traditional Catholics' behave worse than Novus Ordo folks, and the sad thing is, they always think they are right. I've seen with my own eyes one who even lifts his finger and yells at an SSPX priest for trying to instill discipline in the chapel. Go figure.

  • There is no Transubstantiation at the Novus Ordo.

    So it is idolatry.

Attend the Traditional Latin Mass in the A.D.1570 Ordo.

    Such as?

You know, you could PM the moderator with a link to the offending post -- the moderator has a good track record dealing with such posts. No need to start a revolution here in the Anon subforum or anything...

Yes, Matthew, you do delete many blasphemous posts, for which I and many other people are grateful.

And Matthew, that is an excellent idea, for the members to PM you if anyone blasphemes.

One thing you can count on with NO people is that they're always happy to see you at their Mass.

I've never been to an SSPX chapel before (since they are so far away), but I'm willing to bet every last thing I have that a visitor and complete stranger to an SSPX chapel will have to endure stares and whispers as he enters for Mass, and cold shoulders outside after Mass.

That's not what I experienced when I went to a new chapel.

Since you admit you have never been to an SSPX chapel, you are not in the position to make such a statement. You are guilty of rash judgement.

  • GU - if you've never even been to a SSPX church, what would possess you to say such a thing about their charity or lack thereof?!

Based on the attitudes of SSPX people on forums (and trads in general), I don't see how it is not a good guess.

  • The priest ought to remind the faithful they should be polite to newcomers, and welcome them. Because it's sort of typical of our fallen nature to get comfortable in a niche, and like things to stay the same, so new people might seem to be a threat to our stability.

When everyone tries to be hospitable it makes for a much better environment for all.
