As I understand it, men who are deprived in some way of a relationship with their father's end up with what psychologists used to call "father hunger," which usually didn't, but could lead to gender identity disorder and even intrusive/unwanted ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ tempations. The best thing for them to do is forgive everyone involved, trust that God will provide for you so long as you try to honor and obey God, seek out help and find good strong male role models to emulate and find older men who are willing to spend time with you. You can turn that into service, by befriending an old widower who's kids have moved away.
