    I know Fr. Pfeiffer has sunk pretty low, but I will admit I'd be very surprised if this rumor/report was true.
    I would treat it as fake news until it can be confirmed.
    It's not consistent with what we know about him.

    Yes, it would go to far to take it as his words without evidence. Fr Pfeiffer has surely not plunged into Leonardo Boff territory.

    Even tho Fr Pfeiffer said he's united with Francis not the Papacy, he must have meant the reverse, unless he has something even more scandalous (than that terrible attempted consecration etc.) planned.
