1. The Annunciation
"And the angel said to her: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God." (St. Luke 1:30)
O Blessed Virgin Mary, thou art the Immaculate Conception, replenished with the plenitude of graces from the first moment of existence. Wherefore does the Angel declare that thou hast found grace with God? How couldst thou find that which you had already possessed, and possessed in a fullness that exceeds created understanding? Was it not, rather, that thou didst find grace for us, fallen children of Eve, groaning under the tyranny of the devil? Behold us from thy celestial throne, we who are threatened by the enemies of thy Divine Son, menaced by infernal agents who wish to make this Republic a colony of hell, of socialism, of Islam. Do thou grant us thy Son's heavenly grace, that each of us may convert and acknowledge the sovereignty of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. The Visitation
"And Mary rising up in those days, went into the hill country with haste into a city of Juda." (St. Luke 1:39)
Hasten, O Blessed Virgin: hasten unto us. Do thou bring unto us the grace of thy Divine Son, saluting us with words of benediction. As with the holy Baptist, may each of us residing in this Republic receive the grace of thy Divine Son through thy maternal mediation; that we may, as it were, leap for joy before the presence of Our Lord as we make of our very lives a sacrifice of praise, confessing the clemency and omnipotence of thy Divine Son. Do thou bring unto us the Divine Victor, just as thou didst through the Incarnation, that He may conquer this Republic and make it into His special possession.

3. The Nativity
"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn." (St. Luke 2:7)
Thou didst bring forth the Son of the Eternal Father in a poor stable, whilst remaining an inviolate Virgin, O Blessed Mother of God. This Republic seems to have rejected thy Divine Son, causing Him to search for the stables of humble and pure hearts wherein He may be born anew by grace. Grant us, O Blessed Virgin, to be pure and humble of heart, that we may be found worthy of carrying within us Our Lord's divine grace and bring Him forth by means of faith and good works, so that His light may illumine others, thus beginning the conversion of this Republic.

4. The Presentation
"And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother: Behold this child is set for the fall, and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign which shall be contradicted; And thy own soul a sword shall pierce, that, out of many hearts, thoughts may be revealed." (St. Luke 2:34-35)
O Valiant Virgin, cheerfully and courageously didst thou bear the sword of sorrow, for it was the adorable will of thy Divine Son. Thy love for us and thy zeal for our salvation compelled thee to suffer the pangs of childbirth (which thou didst not experience in the sacred Nativity as the Immaculate Conception) in becoming our Mother and co-Redemptress. Grant, O Blessed Virgin, that thy Divine Son may be the fall of our vices and sins, and the resurrection of that grace which we received at Baptism. May thy Divine Son cause the fall of His enemies in our Republic and the resurrection of a Christian Republic that will acknowledge thy Son's social kingship. O Blessed Mother, we are unworthy of such grace, but thy Son does indeed deserve such glory.

5. The Invention
"And seeing him, they wondered. And his mother said to him: Son, why hast thou done so to us? behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing." (St. Luke 2:48)
O Sorrowing Mother, well didst thou bear the loss of thy Son for three days in order to further our salvation and to become for us our supreme Consolatrix in all our woes. It seems as if the above words could well have been address to each of us, and to our Republic at large, as if to say, "O erring children, why have you done so to us? The heavenly Father and I, your true Mother, have sought you sorrowing, for you have "turned back and tempted God: and grieved the holy one of Israel" (Ps. 77:41) and in vain have you attempted to hide yourselves from the face of your Lord God (cf. Gen. 3:8)." O Blessed Mother! Grant unto us to no more grieve thy Divine Son and thine Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart. Grant that we may in earnest seek thy Son by means of prayer and penance, that we may find Him as the Redeemer and King of this fallen Republic.
