    The sedes are right.

If you disagree, you must be some kind of poopy-pants!

    A stand-out moronic reply.

    Maybe.

But isn't the very topic moronic?  Sedevacantists are people who see what is happening and how it conflicts so drastically with Catholic tradition and have arrived at the conclusion that the popes have disregarded the Catholic faith.

This doesn't make sense: a sedevacantist will never say "the popes have disregarded the Catholic faith," but they will say something like "the anti-popes" or "heretics" or "usurpers" or whatever "have disregarded betrayed the Catholic faith."

The choice of words is what confuses me sometimes.

This thread has obviously stricken quite a nerve, and it's funny that the ad hominems against the OP became more intense and violent after the comment on the irreconcilable differences between Bp. Dolan, Fr. Cekada, Bp. Sanborn, et alii, and the CMRI.

It is pretty interesting. Some sedevacantists are quick to pass judgment on the SSPX, the N.O., &c., but when it comes to their groups they cannot suffer to have the skeletons taken out of their closets. Not a healthy mentality at all...

Has anyone noticed that there is (are) still member(s) perusing the Bishop Pivaruna's Big Blunder thread, giving thumbs up and down based on an obvious bias.

Probably the same person who has been fast and loose with the ad hominems.

A sedevacantist sees a pope but then when he sees the pope embracing heresy he then and only then decides that this pope must be an anti-pope.

So a Pope stops being a Pope when and only when a sedevacantist decides he must be an anti-Pope?

By what authority and theological competence does a sedevacantist determine when and how a Pope embraces heresy?

Can a sedevacantist impose his individual views on others?

I am honestly curious about these things.

Not legitimately. Some may try. But they have no authority to declare it in binding manner, neither can sede-plenists legitimately impose their views.
