I am in my 30's and am still single. I live in my parents' basement. I don't have a cellphone. I have problems with mental illness that make it diffucult to work so I am unemplyed and these problems also make it nearly impossible for me to marry and raise a family properly so I don't intend on getting married. But, despite all this, I am happy with my life.

I think the OP made a great post. He came across harshly regarding the abused child but he's basically right.

Abused children need our prayers and it is likely that they will never develop properly.

I take back part of what I said.

I think the "must be a virgin - NO EXCEPTIONS" is really overdoing it. There are literally millions of beautiful pearls, real prizes who engaged in sɛҳuąƖ behavior without fully realizing the consequences and there are angels out there who did engage in pre-marital sex before Our Lord blessed them with the necessary graces to become a Traditional Catholic.

I would say, the only "NO EXCEPTIONS" clause would be if the young lady embraced the novus ordo - that would be a deal breaker.

The natural law is written in the heart.

These are ostensibly traditional Catholic girls.

A man might not find a virgin, but I cannot fault a man for accepting no less.

The risk in marrying an unchaste women is much greater.

Catholic parents should be telling their daughters that they had better preserve their virginity if they want a Catholic family life.
