  • Does anyone know if Fr. Gallagher was conditionally ordained?

    "Fr. Francis Gallagher
    Religion, Latin

Fr. Gallagher grew up in Evanston, Illinois where he was taught by the Sisters of Providence through 8th grade. After completing studies at Evanston High School and the University of Illinois in architecture, he entered the seminary in Rome, Italy in 1978.  He completed his degree in sacred theology at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD and was ordained for the Diocese of Peoria in 1987. He served in various pastoral assignments in that diocese until he                                              began working with the Society of St. Pius X in January, 2011. Soon after completion of the              Society’s priests’ program in August of 2012, he joined the staff at La Salette.

  • When I asked him a few years ago, he told me that he was not.
