Let’s present the matter in a different light using the same principles that Tom is using.

If you heard that a man in the neighbourhood had a reputation for being a pedophile from a reasonable source, but could not verify it completely for whatever reason, would you send your child to play at his house?

This is Tom here. That wasn't me above, though I agree with it.
Anyway my response is simple.

If there was no law enforcement to do this job, any normal parent would say no. Even with law enforcement most parents today would say no.

When the Church is restored the Thuc line Sacraments can be just conditionally redone. But they certainly wont be accepted with the situation as is when Rome becomes Catholic again.

Be careful in selecting your bride, and just remember:

"From woman came the beginning of sin, and by her we all die." ~ Sirach 25:24

Yes, the point is that it is inconceivable that our most prudent Mother, Holy Church, would, as Tom has said, leave the situation as it is without examining the question and rectifying the situation.

I have learned that the Church solves things like this not only for the sake of justice, but for the sake of bringing peace of soul to reasonably disquieted consciences. Disquietude of soul, according to St. Francis de Sales, is the greatest evil underneath sin, and the Church in Her wonderful solicitude for Her children cares about this deeply as well.

Hey quick question Tisas, does original sin come from Adam or from Eve?

Are you sure you quoted that correctly?

Additionally, in the Douay-Rheims Bible (the only English translation of the Bible that has been approved by the Church), Sirach is referred to as Ecclesiasticus, and this what chapter 25, verse 24 states:

“The wickedness of a woman changeth her face: and she darkeneth her countenance as a bear: and sheweth it like sackcloth.”
