Yes, it is very wrong to rashly judge parishioners who may not meet our criteria as a good Catholic. There are so many souls that our Lord converts from bad habits and shady pasts who still have tattoos or maybe wear their makeup too heavy.
A man can have a good few years to improve himself. A woman is already who she is at about 18/19. She can convert, but she has to struggle more than a man. Certainly considering her time limit in having children.
In my personal experience, if a woman has not converted before 25 it will be real hard for her to adapt to a good Catholic marriage and the demands that the Sacraments makes on people.
I have seen plenty of 26-28 year old women converting. And they are very zealous, but they would never be able to cope well in marriage.
Please lets remember we live in a society that is getting worse by the day. More and more anti marriage. NOT less.
Therefore those who will survive, are those who are the most zealous and the most capable. Not less!
Lets stop the dreaming folks. It's brutal out there, and even the Bible says "the luke warm I will spit you out". We must be on fire for God.
