  • I can see at a glance there are deeper underlying issues in this relationship.

    That aside, what God expects from both of you is openness to children to give Him glory in heaven.

    If your wife's coldness is spurring a reciprocal coldness in you, that in itself is not sinful, presuming there is no danger of solitary sin.

    However, the true Christian reaction would be for you to attempt to remedy whatever is the cause of her coldness, and for her to do the same.

    There is a stratagem of Satan at play here: He will circle for an opening, seeking to expand the chasm, and ultimately divide.

    Address the reasons for your wife's coldness.

    Absolutely crucial.
