Catholic Foundations of Mathematics

Please recommend a Foundations of Mathematics text that does not veer from Catholic sensibility, i.e. a volume which would not be out of place in the library of a man who believes in objective reality such as His Excellency Bishop Williamson. I ask because, unfortunately, even modern math texts aren't safe from postmodernist perversion. So, I want to read a text in which 2 and 2 are indeed still 4!  :laugh1: And so on and so forth.

It will depend on your background. Are you a scientist/ engineer or mathematician by training? Sometimes 2 + 2 = 1 (modular arithmetic).

Sometimes the square root of a number can be negative one, but that's just an imaginary number, not a real one.

I am not positive but I believe there is a match teacher at the SSPX chapel in Phoenix who has written his own which may interest you. I don't have his name but I am sure it is easily available through an inquiry to the chapel. Ourladyofsorrows.org
