What do sedevacantists think of all the saints who have been canonized by the conciliar anti-Popes, in particular, the question is referred to those who are considered to be "traditional" and good Catholics like Padre Pio who were canonized by JPII?

Is Padre Pio a saint or not?

Padre Pio was a saint long before his "canonization"
Mother Teresa doesn't get to heaven just because of her "canonization".

And how do you know this? Who told you?

That is a subjective answer. Canonizations cannot be a matter of personal opinion.

Was Padre Pio a saint? Most traditional Catholics would say yes even though he was canonized by John Paul II. But I saw a recent blog post by a sedevacantist that questioned his canonization. Was Padre Pio an Ecuмenist? I commented on the post as Matthew.

As far as the canonizations of the Novus Ordo goes, I doubt their legitimacy. I don't know if that means I have to become a sedevacantist or not, but I just would not want to pray to John Paul II, John, XXIII, or Paul VI or the other Novus Ordo "saints". And about Padre Pio, I believe he is a saint, but I do not call him "Saint Padre Pio" but I just call him "Padre Pio" while believing he is in heaven.

I think that the general reaction of sedevacantists to those canonized by the conciliar popes is the belief that these canonizations are opinions but not infallible since the person declaring such is not a true pope.

Hence, for example, John Paul II could proclaim someone bad or good as a saint if he wanted. They could be in heaven or they could be in hell. His word would be just as binding and possibly accurate as you or me saying that we believe that someone is in heaven.

That being said, one does not have to be proclaimed to be a saint to be one. Hope this helps! :-)
