"Cardinal" Giovanni Todiso--has any one heard of him? Is he legit? Where does he hail from? I have been told his is here in the USA. Only other info i was given, he supposedly is a "Catholic" Cardinal. who worked with the Vatican in the 1950s as a Bishop. Pehaps he is still a bishop, recently noted as having moved to position of Cardinal within the past year(?). Is passionate, or with an extremely intense manner, opposed to traditional Catholicism, based on the claims of Pope Benedict 15th...who forbid Catholics to prefix their names with "traditional" or "liberal", saying that Catholicis Catholic. You either are or you aren't. That much is true, (however, the Church hadn't been hijacked by V2. He claims not to be V-2). He appears to supports priest of Fraternal Order of St Peter as well is an advocate and is in support of the apparitions of Me?ugorje. Any legit info
A) He'd be over 100 if he were a bishop in the 50s - average age for episcopal consecration seems to be about 45. Sometimes, you get a man who becomes a bishop in his 30s, but that's very, very rare. That means he went from priest to bishop in less than a decade.
B) Bishops retire at 75 and cardinals are picked usually as active bishops of dioceses
C) If he were opposed to Tradition, why would he support the FSSP - an organization
whose entire modus operandi is to say the Latin Mass?
D) You might be thinking of Angelo Todisco who was born in 1956.
