Can a psychopath be saved?  Are there examples?

Anyone can be saved, provided they are subject to the Roman Pontiff, are baptized, and profess the true Faith, persevering until death.

If a psychopath does all of these things, leads a Catholic life, and tempers their impulses; there's no reason to say they can't be.

You are saved when you arrive in Heaven. We can't say who's arrived and who's been deprived of God's Eternal Presence, with the exception of Judas Iscariot. But Dl is right, that a psychopath can be saved.

"Psychopath" is a description, it's not some immutable characteristic like your sex, race, or genetics. Scientists claim that there are "psychopathic" brains, but that's bunk because "science" doesn't really understand the brain all that much. Somebody could have an above average tendency to want to hurt people that piss them off, but it doesn't matter. Everybody has urges, everybody has different tendencies. One can have urges, doesn't mean you have to give in to them.
