Padre Pio is pictured with a normal crucifix; not the San Damiano cross.

I heard that the x rated San Damiano cross is associated with ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity. It isn't new either this is product of Vatican II during 60s. There is the San Damiano retreat house out in California that has ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ themed retreats.
