Bishop Williamson US Mass Tour in Progress

    • Dear Forum-

    Does anyone have dates and locations for Bishop Williamson's current US Mass locations and dates?

    I am being asked where and when he will be appearing, but in typical Resistance fashion, nobody knows until its too late (if they ever know at all).

    I know someone who would like to attend.

    I promise, the Mossad will not get him if anyone could tell us where the hell Mass is, for crying out loud!!!

    I know he will be in St. Mary's, KS for Easter

    I think he may be in the Post Falls area currently.

    Beyond that, I know nothing.

    Kind of hard to get to confession, confirmation, or make any travel plans like this!

    Is there an email list circulating somewhere, or is the Resistance content with the people it already has, and wants no new converts?

    EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING trying to track down a resistance that doesn't want to be found!

    This word of mouth stuff is for the birds.

    • I would like to know if he will be coming to Connecticut or anywhere in the northeast.  If he is, I would like to make contact with the local area coordinator.

    It would be nice to have a US SAJM website. But none exists, as far as I know. There's no way to contact Bp. Zendejas. It seems that all communication has to go through the French SAJM. 
    I would think that +Z could at least have a contact person who can give him messages, if he doesn't want to be contacted directly. He may not have to maintain a website himself. 
    It would have been nice to have advance notice of this tour.

    Almost certainly, since that is where +BZ is located, but I have no info regarding dates, times, or address, etc.

    The answer to this is "YES" they are satisfied with what they have and do not intend to expand or grow. Bishop Z is on record as having said that. Look in the news articles from when he was getting a church/retreat house in Connecticut.

    On the one hand, this kind of approach to the apostolate tends to retard and stifle the growth of the resistance.

    Because it does that, it feeds the "controlled opposition" theory of Fr. Pfeiffer (i.e., +BW is a plant, secretly working in tandem with +BF/Pagliarani to smother the growth of the Resistance).

    But while +BW's ideas definitely have that effect (e.g., discourage vocations; no desire to replace the SSPX; telling SSPX priests to remain where they are; opting for independence vs congregations, obedience, and hierarchy; no publicity; etc.), I believe these counterproductive ideas and approaches to the apostolate are just the Bishops trying to conform to +BW's fatalistic, end-times vision.

    That still makes it imprudent and counterproductive in my opinion, but not evil and subversive.

    In the spirit of full disclosure:


    1. I'd like to see the actual quote.

    2. You admitted you are disillusioned with the Resistance (including, among other things, the integral Catholicism -- or lack thereof -- at your local chapel)

    3. You no longer attend Mass with the Resistance, but rather the Indult.

    4. Related to 2 & 3, you are a young man "single and looking" who is especially anxious for "expansion" which would no doubt increase your chances of finding a spouse.

    My reponse: Bp. Z will expand as fast as is prudent. Perhaps he doesn't have enough priests to expand at this time. That is no doubt what he meant. He is plenty apostolic, as you well know. But he is also patient and prudent. He's not reckless in his expansion, as that can actually backfire. He would rather have steady, real growth.

    Okay, but where on Cath Info can the contact info for SAJM in the U.S. be easily found? I say easily found, because maybe it should be found without having to do an extensive search on the forum, or by having to contact you. Not that that's a terrible thing, but shouldn't it be easier than that? I can't find the info at all here on Cath Info even after doing a search, though I could have missed it.  

    Heck, I myself would try to maintain a little website that has info for the for SAJM in the U.S., but I'm not computer savvy at all. I'm thinking in particular of SSPX priests who might be thinking of leaving the SSPX - how would they know where to look? They can contact the SAJM in France of course, but they might not even be aware that that's what they should do.

    • I was told that Bishop Williamson would be in Ct for April 28th Confirmations, High Mass and conference.
    I guess they changed the date to Easter.....hard to plan for this....
