Humanly speaking, I don't think there is a whole lot we can do, aside from good example and prayer.

It's true we shouldn't be lukewarm, so we should learn our Faith, obey the commandments (at least avoiding Mortal sin), learn some basic Latin, learn how to serve Mass, some basic Catholic hymns -- after all, these are the things we expect the whole world to embrace, so we should at least be consistent enough to lead the way!

The people in 1940 at lease in America fell for the FDR lie that he was
going to keep us out of WW2, and behind the scenes FDR was
engineering our entry into WW2. This because of a propaganda and
lying mass media that used Hollywood cinema in steering up pro
war propaganda.  Even on the even of 12/7/1941 the majority of
Americans wanted to say out of WW2.  On December 8th over a
million men applied for the draft.
