I'm the OP. The thing that saddens me is that in my area for example, it seems that is the FSSP the one that is bringing Novus Ordo Catholics and converts into tradition. Their masses are packed, their families are huge, and they are actually growing. Whereas we are losing families in my SSPX Chapel, which is a good sized by other standards. And now with the Resistance, it seems that the situation instead of improving, is actually worsening, causing further division and confusion among the faithful. It bothers me that it is the FSSP, and not the SSPX, the one that is actually making tradition grow and really resisting the Novus Ordo as far as the parishioners go. They're leaving the Novus Ordo pews empty. At least in my area this is the case, from what I can actually see. (as opposed to read online)
I sense a close mentality in my SSPX Chapel also. I want to win all Novus Ordo as well as the rest of the godless population over our Chapel but it seems that I am alone in my attempts. There is a well founded fear of bringing in "modernism", but I think we do need to reach out more and educate other Catholics of the actual crisis. I volunteered to set up a website for our Parish and school because I want to see them grow and I think it is important to have an online presence but it seems everyone wants to keep a low profile, kind of being hidden, apart from the bad evil world. That seems cultish, not Catholic. Prospective students in our Academy must adjust to our standards, not the other way around. We re supposed to be the light of the world, conquer it, fight it, not run from it. We don't win anything by keeping hidden and the big success of the Fraternity of St Peter in the area proves it.

What exactly are you looking for?
Is it enough to go to a chapel that has the TLM and matching Sacraments?
Or are you looking to go to a chapel that holds true to the CATHOLIC Faith?
A chapel that nourishes your soul and strengthens you against the battle for your eternal life?
The FSSP Chapel with it's large families are always appealing, who does not want a "full parish life surrounded by catholic families"?
But it's all window dressing.
90% of those families end up seeing their children grow up to be NO.
Why???
Because the only difference between the two (FSSP & Indult/NO) is window dressing.
There is no principle driving at the heart of their attendance.
As someone who has had extensive experience in both the FSSP (many years) and Indult (helped establish the first one in our area), this has been my experience.
After awhile Tradition (with a capital T) becomes tradition (with a lower case t).
Mom and Dad may be Traditional Catholics but their children Peter and Elizabeth are traditional catholics.
And as for the cultish atmosphere, yes, you will find that in both FSSP and SSPX chapels, not all, but some.
But in the NO you will find Modernism! :devil2: :devil2: :devil2:
Remember, the battle is for your soul and
Satan plays for keeps.
Forget about the socializing, the cultish behavior, the niceties of being with many like minded families.
At this point the war has been waged >>> ferociously! And we cannot sit back and be complacent.
We need to go to a chapel with valid priests and Bishops who preach the unwavering Truth!!!
