  • Are there many young people going into the priesthood or the convent?

At my chapel, I know of at least two young ladies who are now nuns and at least two young men who are going to become priests.

What is it like at your chapel?

  • Every year when the youth graduate from high school, we get a couple.

Some stay in and some leave after awhile.

  • Not one in over 10 years.  Before then, I'm told a priest at St Mary's attended the chapel for a short time in the early 1990s.

  • My chapel is very small. We only get about thirty people each week. But there is a young SSPX priest who came from our chapel and we also have a seminarian in Argentina who came from our chapel. I think that's pretty good considering how small our chapel is.

  • There are four young men studying for the priesthood and two that are going to the seminary soon and one young lady who has been professed in the convent.
