Yes, "Morris" is not an uncommon Jєωιѕн surname in Britain. In his series he has said that he was brought up as a Jєω but later realized/found out that he was not one. He has not elaborated I don't think. He now considers Jєωs not to be a racial grouping but rather a religious one. This obviously means to him that if you renounce Judaism then you can no longer be classified as being a Jєω.
