  • "Father Zendejas added, “Because we keep the tradition in church, people think that we are right-wing politically, and that is a confusion.”"

    What does this mean?

Are there liberal trads out there?

  • It means that Fr. Zendejas seems to understand that 'right-wing' and 'left-wing' are terms representing philosophical ideas that derive from the French Revolution.

Catholics are often wrongly described as being 'right-wing' but the truth is it's impossible to be integrally Catholic when believing in or practicing the philosophy of the Revolution - liberté, égalité, fraternité.

In Catholic terms the 'right-wing' is Liberalism.

  •   If left is right then, What is right now called.
Sounds like as though the right use to be good.
Now it is something else as far as trads go.

  • I have known a few socialist Catholic Traditionalists. They are voting for pro-abortionists and yet they are pro-life. I cannot understand it.

Isn't Distributionalism a form of socalism?

Are they voting for Bernie Sanders (if they're American)?

  • He makes some very good points about the economy and he's not a shill for the Establishment but yes, sadly, he's pro-abortion.

You are out of touch with reality. Although right-wing is a conservative extreme, nevertheless, to the Liberal, traditional Catholics are right-wing because they are definitely a strong shade of conservative.

    Yes.

No you don't have any Catholic friends who support Bernie (Jєω) Sanders

They ceased being Catholic by supporting someone who supports Murder.

  • Part of the problem is the word "liberal," which Americans use in a totally diferent way than the rest if the world.  To Americans, a liberal is someone who is left-wing, essentially a socialist.  To the rest of the world, a liberal is someone is supports free markets.  Essentially, to the rest of the world, a liberal is what Americans call "libertarians."

  • If there is anyone in your traditonal chapel that supports left wing loons or causes, they aren't traditional.  They are infiltrators there to change you and your mind.
