  • I had a thought recently that is controversial here. I know many posters here think that Archbishop is a saint in heaven now. Do you think Archbishop Lefebvre is in purgatory now because he made Fellay a bishop? It was his greatest mistake. Maybe he should have known better and is being punished for his poor decision.

    Mistakes are not sins (although sins are obviously mistakes). I doubt people are sent to Purgatory for mere mistakes.
