  • I moved to Colorado 4 years ago and have known since Bishop Williamson was kicked out, that there has been something very wrong with the society.
Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless you

  • You could contact fr. Pfeiffer.
He's got a perv legitimate priest, questionable priest, questionable NO priest, and a non-bishop in his pocket.
    Um, no thanks?

  • Why would the OP contact Fr. Pfeiffer?  There is no resistance chapel in Colorado.  You might try an eastern rite if you're near Denver.  If not, there's Fr. Ripperger, if you're okay with relationship to n.o.  Otherwise, you'll probably have to move or pray at home.

  • There are many Catholics who pray at home due to lack of priests.

    Does this help?

Why not phone the number in the previous post and just ask?

Check out Servants of the Holy Family in Colorado Springs. They've been independent since the 70's. I think the founding priest was ordained by +Lefebvre

    I'm in Fort Collins
You could go to Annunciation Chapel in Fort Collins (SSPX). That would be the closest.

  • Traditio does a great act of charity by offering this list of masses.  They update it frequently.

Agreed. Although, last year I had a bad encounter with Fr. Eugene Barry.
My Mom went to speak with him and gave her some reading materials. A couple months later, he calls my Mom and starts yelling at her that Feeneyites are not welcome at his parish. My Mom then called me and told me to speak with him and I did. He said he saw me at his church (Our Lady of Victory, Aurora CO) and started yelling at me saying Feenyites are not welcome here! I had never even met the man! What's funnier is that I was in New York about to catch a plane back to Colorado (I was in the Holy Land for a week). That was my first experience with a sedevacantist priest. Although I have spoken with a CMRI priest and he was much more charitable.

Yes, Fr. Ward, founder of Servants of the Holy Family, was ordained by +ABL. Fr. Ward and his seminarians disappeared from the SSPX in the 70s and popped up some time later in CO., where he's been ever since. I remember Fr. Ward fondly, a very strong headed and knowledgeable young priest, pretty much the same as all new priests that were trained under +ABL.
